Celebration catering

Egerton Catering was established over 30 years ago and specialise in traditional homemade food to provide catering in Shropshire.

Kay Egerton joined her mother-in-law in running the company after working as a school cook for many years.

For the last few years, Kay has picked up the reigns of running the company and continues to provide freshly made quality hot and cold buffet catering for all occasions throughout North Shropshire, North Wales, Cheshire, especially Ellesmere Oswestry, and surrounding villages.

Egerton Catering is run from our farmhouse kitchen in rural North Shropshire near Ellesmere and has a 5-star food hygiene rating.

How we work

Organising a special occasion can be stressful. We will try to minimise your stress, help you put a menu together, and plan the logistics for the event to suit the time and venue and the number of people coming.

Communication is vital for a well-run event. Therefore, before your celebration is confirmed, we will speak to you in person to get a good idea of what you would like and your menu choice. Once we have done this, we will:

  • Confirm your menu, any special requirements, numbers and venue and provide you with a quote.
  • On acceptance of the quote, we will ask for a deposit.
  • We make sure you have all you require; this may involve looking at the venue.
  • You can change the numbers and menu up to four days before the event.
